Did you know there is a free online learning platform for NZ teachers to assist them and their students navigate the new digital technologies curriculum?

The Digital Passport (www.digitalpassport.co.nz) is made up of four video-based workshops and supplementary resources, and teachers are guided by experts through key progress outcomes of The Ministry of Education’s new digital curriculum, focusing on computational thinking and designing and developing digital outcomes.

Every student from year 1-year 10 now has the chance to embrace new ways of collaborating, researching, creating and communicating all aided by smart digital tools and student leveraged online platforms thanks to the Mind Lab and the Next Foundation who are behind the initiative.

The free access offer for primary, intermediate and secondary teachers and principals ends July 22, 2018. It has been designed for educators teaching Years 1-10, but it’s useful for anyone wanting to understand how education is changing including parents, librarians, and Early Childhood Educators.

Parents and organizations can purchase the resource online for $39.95.
